Our client’s express and/or implied financial agreement is with YOU the patient (or parent, guardian, etc.) and NOT with your insurance company (other than Medicare, etc.). Processing your insurance claim is a courtesy that our clients extend to all their patients, and are happy to do so, but please realize that any balance owed is the patient’s (or parent, guardian, etc.) responsibility from the date services are rendered. Our clients do not render their services on the basis that the insurance companies will pay all their fees. If there are any problems with how your insurance company is handling your bill or claim, it is up to you to address the problems, and to contact them to help resolve any issues.
